Since September 2026, eligibility for free school meals (FSM) has been extended to all pupils from households receiving Universal Credit
If your child is entitled to free school meals, you need to apply. If your child is eligible for free school meals, they’ll also qualify for the Holiday Activity and Food Programme. Food vouchers may also be available through the Household Support Fund. Find out more by contacting the local council.
