Willow Class – February Visit
We visited Forest School again and we done lots of fun activities again. We noticed that there were no leaves on the tress as it was winter and it was very cold!!!!
We made mud monsters and stuck them to trees within the woods. Some of us enjoyed getting messier than others!!
We also had a go at sawing wood and cutting pieces of wood of branches to use for our campfire. We love the campfire as we toast marshmallows and get to eat them. They are delicious.
We are looking forward to our next trip back in March.
Willow Class visit West Boldon Lodge every half term. We learn about teamwork and working together whilst exploring the outside environment. We love it!!
Hawthorn Class visit West Boldon Lodge every half term.
The children enjoyed walking through the trees collecting items for their journey stick which were then attached to their stick.
We ate our packed lunches around the camp fire and toasted marshmallows.
We are visiting again on Wednesday 10th February and will be taking part in waste and recycling activities linked to our recent school assembly.
