Eight of our year 7 students took part in an under-14 football tournament against schools from all over Tyne & Wear.
They won some, and lost some, but no matter what they still showed immense commitment. They worked well as a team, supporting each other and showed great enthusiasm.
In particular, Ben Finn was a superb team captain, Alex Lee never stopped running and even after being injured Jared played with a sling on his arm! Kay was our top goal scorer with 7 goals.
To round off a great day, we were awarded with the shield for best sportsmanship throughout the day.
They did Bamburgh proud, as always.
