Hawthorn Class have recently visited Eden Camp which links to our World War 2 topic. The children had an excellent time looking at and experiencing different aspects of WW2 in different huts.
They also enjoyed looking at the war vehicles. A favourite hut was the ‘street’ which featured a sweet shop and it smelt like toffee.
To get out of the rain we stopped for hot chocolate and cups of tea. The staff and children all had a fantastic day despite the rain!
