The children in Holly Class finished off their recent topic Greece – Now and Then with an exciting play ‘Theseus and the Minotaur’ which showed off everyone’s excellent acting skills. All children worked very hard throughout, helping each other by learning lines and working together as part of a team.
The event was very well attended by parents, specially invited guests including Mrs Lilian Turnbull, a school governor and a volunteer in our class and also Mr Nord. After the play, everyone enjoyed a simple snack of traditional Greek food including homemade tzatziki, pitta bread and fresh fruit. Topic books containing the children’s work were admired by all and everyone agreed it was an excellent afternoon. Well done everyone!
